2015 CNY OOTD~

Hello~! I'm back again this time with just a real quick OOTD post on what I wore for this CNY.

Starting of with my balik kampung (directly translated to "return to village" which really means "going back to your home/hometown")  OOTD.

#1 Here I am wearing my new Ti:zed Ladies cardigan blazer, Padini Authentic tee, Padini white shorts and Typo duffle bag (old)

#2 For CNY Day 1, I wore this Padini red knit shift dress _ which is still kinda baggy 'cuz I didn't have time to alter it _ and  a cinch belt from Taobao. Pumps are from Jelly Bunny.

I really wanted to wear heels but I'm just too lazy to carry more stuff back :/ And please ignore my messy hair in this pic...

#3 For Day 2, I totally forgot to ask my sis to snap a photo but this is really what I wore except with the white belt like from the previous photo instead of the mustard one. I bought 3 colors (the other one is black) from the same Taobao seller (⌒▽⌒)

#4 On Day 3, I wore this Nichii lace dress with a matching cinch belt I bought from FBlock. Took this photo from the porch so you get to see part of what my home looks like~

Mom loves her garden and has lotsa plants including lotuses. One time I counted she had more than 20 different plants and over 50 of them in the porch/garden (=v= ) I'm not sure how many she has now but definitely lesser.

I'm not going to take photo of every inch of the porch but here's a close up on what's in my background. Largest pot we have in the house compound for lotus which hasn't flower yet and you can't see them but we have guppies in there too.

MY FIRST VLOG! January 2015 Collective Hauls

Hello~!

Yes, as this title has obviously pointed out, today I'm publishing my first ever vlog!

Decided to make a video of me showing off sharing with you my hauls for the month before I forget about them. I'll eventually post them in my OOTD post lah but that usually takes a while to put together because I usually put what I bought aside until I find some accessories to match them together with.

But making a video is oh so-o time consuming. I actually made the video last weekend but Day 1 was just me wasting my time which just shows how unprepared I was. But then also I was not feeling so well with headache and me shivering all day because it was so chilly! I seem to get the chill easily these days... The complete video was taken on Day 2 and that took me a few hours just for this 5-minute video OMG

I'm seeing newscasters/actors/actresses/vlog-ers in a whole new light *salute*

After I finished editing and all, it took me a whole week to figure out how to get the video saved 'cuz every time I attempted to do that, iMovie stopped responding (╯°□°）╯︵ ┻━┻ Yesterday alone I rebooted my lappie half a dozen times.

This is my first vlog, so please go easy on me. I know it probably isn't the best one out there and personally, just from reviewing the video I find it super embarrassing to see myself and I have many second thoughts of not posting the video (╯_╰”) I may need more practice to get over the awkwardness of being in front of the camera.

Moreover, the quality of the camera may not be the bestlah. I just took it using my Macbook's camera straight into iMovie.

2014 OOTD

Hello~! (*⌒∇⌒*)ﾉ

Putting together my OOTD shots from last year, like finally.

#1 SEED lace-detail camisole, Scarlet knit skirt and (old) NOSE handbag

I was looking to get myself a knit skirt when I found this. This skirt also has a matching top to match but I didn't quite like it so I just go for the skirt. It comes in another checkered pattern too, seee ⇓

#2 Nichii lace dress with belt

#3 Factorie oatmeal basic tee _which I got for a super good bargain at RM15!!! And quality so good OMG _ that I mix and match with my skirt and cardigan blazer.

#4 Stacked rings (forgot where I got from). Really want more of these sort of dainty rings including midi rings, they're so-o cute!! #NotAnOOTD LOL

Next two photos are not something I got for myself. I sorta camwhored at H&M while waiting for my friend. Oh well, still OOTD pics.. XP

#7 Just some random mix and match with stuff in my wardrobe_ (old) Bershka quote tee, (old) Nichii royal blue skirt and SEED stud-detailed belt.

Really love this coordinate which sorta came up in a flash that day. Until then, didn't thought much about wearing my work skirt with my casual tees (*´∀｀*)

#8 Another mix and match look_ (old) navy cotton jacket, Vero Moda/Zalora mode tshirt, SEED white shorts, Alfio Raldo/Zalora quilted backpack and VINCI nude pumps.

#9 Something Borrowed/Zalora floral print halter neck dress with Bershka cardigan and Aldo sneakers

Yesterday I went shopping again and just got a few more pieces of clothing from Padini Concept Store at Pavillion yayyyy~!! o(≧▽≦)o  Can't wait to share my hauls with you soon!

Girls' Saturday Day Out: Izakaya Aka Chochin

Yesterday, I hung out with a friend and we finally got to try out the new Japanese restaurant in Pavillion called Izakaya Aka Chochin. Been wanting to try since I first spotted it a few weeks ago! So this post is mostly about what we had at Izakaya and other cafes we dropped by lol.

Only recently I've been introduced to the concept on Izakaya, which is known to be a place where Japanese hold nomikai or drinking party. I actually have my first experience dining in an Izakaya right beside Shibuya 109 in Tokyo which I had drafted a post on but yet to be published. Dragged for so long 'cuz my schedule's been occupied again.

That's what happen when you try to balance work with studies and so blogging and other hobbies comes in last... ( T____T )

That aside, sharing some photos we took yesterday~

Hotate Yaki~

Egg souffle~ We thought it is the size of the usual chawan mushi but it turned up in a huge bowl of super succulent souffle~ yum yum!

Then fluffy cheese okonomiyaki. Not the best I've tried but it was still good.

We wanted to order idako for appetizer but overlooked when ordering but then the food turned out to be wayy too much for us both. After spending hours trying to finish out meal and chatting at the same time, we went window shopping for a bit before heading to Komugi at Tokyo Street upstairs.

I like Komugi's pastries but never dined in the cafe before (OへO)

Had their flavored latte in hazelnut and it was really yummy. Plus it came with an uber cute Hello Kitty coffee art~!

Also ordered matcha parfait. There's ALWAYS space for more desserts!

Nadia ordered this Chocolate Monkey which is actually chocolate banana lolol. Such a befitting name!

More shopping afterwards because Nadia needed to get some clothes for some occasions~ So while she does the changing and catwalk, I snap some photos from the boutique, occasionally took some pics of her modeling the clothes too hahahaha

Between all the shopping and chatting, the heels of my favorite wedges I was wearing came off いやだ! ( T a T ''||) and had to get another.. Not sure if it's a blessing in disguise or what but I finally get to buy this moca color heels I've been eyeing a while...

And bought another pvc-style one from Jelly Bunny because the other day I waded through streams of water (ankle high even with heels) in my work shoes when it rained heavily the other day fml.

I was worried because I have bought many work flats that didn't survived through the rain and lasted like less than a month from being over-worn. What's more flats are my least favorite item to splurge on urggghhh

A friendly girl who was paying at the counter assured me hers lasted for 2 years and that I would be back for more. When I posted on my fb, another told me Jelly Bunny's really worth it. The brand's seems to have lotsa strong supporters.

Work OOTD

Today's post is a quick compilation of my OOTD which I Instagram-ed recently. These days my shopping lists consist of mostly clothes I deem work-worthy ones since I spent more time in the office wth. So you'll notice lots of work clothing in this post ranging from formal to smart casual to casual Friday's.

#1 First off, Padini peplum top, Bershka yellow cardigan and Nichii hi-lo skirt.

$8 Oh, and a new addition on my Instagram today_Nichii detailed chiffon top with black skirt and Cotton On charity bracelets I super like. Just added this to my Instagram just nau (^o^ )♪
