Review: Neutrogena Oil Free Moisturiser

I am quite new when it comes to using moisturizers and this Neutrogena Oil-free moisturizer for combination skin is my first. I wsn't really a fan of Neutrogena products and simply got this with Neutrogena's cleanser months ago because my sis recommended them. This was way-y-y before I've discovered Neogence Ace Revitalizing and Renewing Series and the TamagoHada cleanser. After I've used up the cleanser, I chucked this inside my wardrobe forgotten until recently.

Decided to use it when I noticed my skin were getting really dry and even peeling a bit since I switched to using HadaLabo's TamagoHada cleanser. Worst, from the lack of moisturizing, I'm starting to get loads of breakouts. So I resorted to include this moisturizing routine together with my other daily regimen.

texture of this lotion is really close to that of Neogence ACE Moisturizer, only slightly 'heavier'

All my problems were solved just days after using this moisturizer. It gives me just the right amount of moisturizing affect I needed!!

While I do agree on the hydrating the skin "without leaving it oily or shiny" part, it didn't do much in keeping my T-zone the "matte finish all day". Maybe just 2-3 hours? After that, I've got to blot some of the oil off my skin. Still, I really do like this moisturizer. It's not greasy and absorbs pretty well after a lil' bit of massaging and patting. And I really do like how the bottle comes with a pump, means no having to dig the lotion up with your nails(eeek!!).

Repurchase? Definitely, but I want to experiment on other brand moisturizers.  Anyway, I would totally recommend those who're looking for a moisturizer for combination  skin and suitable to be used under makeups. This is one affordable moisturizer that totally works v(^v^v)

My rating: 4.5
