Dolly Wink Black Mascara & Liquid Eyeliner Reviews

Hello~

Will be reviewing this Dolly Wink  Mascara in #02 Volume and Dolly Wink Black Liquid Eyeliner~ I bought them previously during Tokyo Love Collection (Part 2) pop up store at Isetan KLCC.

Previously, I have also reviewed the Dolly Wink's False Eyelashes, also hauls from Tokyo Love Collection here.

Jyan~ this is what the products look like~~

Design wise, the packaging is really cute but the mascara and eyeliner bottles are a bit too boring compared to what they have for the brown mascara and single eyeliners. Wished the black mascara have been in much cuter shades..

Now for the review of these products starting with the eyeliners~

Dolly Wink Liquid Eyeliner in Black

The thin brush helps to create smooth, fine lines. Some more, it's very easy to control and drawing closer to lash line is easy even for an eyeliner amateur like me (≥ v ≤ )

Also using this complementary Koji crayon eyeliner in black to line the upper waterline~

Here are swipes of the eyeliners (Up: Dolly Wink Liquid Eyeliner; Down: Koji Crayon Pencil) below. Also, did the waterproof test and result is the one on the right~

One of the con is that these eyeliners are not waterproof, especially the crayon liner which smudges onto my lower lids giving me panda eyes just after a few hours of applying :(( It didn't show much on this pic because the residue got washed away.

Dolly Wink Mascara

For the black mascara, there are options for either #01 Long or #02 Volume. I chose the latter because I prefer more visibly, thicker lashes.

This is the result after a few swipes~

From nada to super visible lashes!

Eyelashes appears much thicker without being overly clumpy (⌒o⌒ ) It's quite natural too, don't you agree? Also, this mascara's waterproof and didn't need much touching up at all!

The downside would be it takes more than 3 swipes to get the result above besides being super pricey.. I got this limited edition mascara & eyeliner set for RM78 compared to RM69.90 for mascara and RM59.90 for the liquid eyeliner if bought separately.

Super like the berry color lipstick from dabbing a bit of fuchsia-color lipstick over my Candy Doll lipgloss in Milky Orange. Cheek color is from my new Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balm. Yes, a lip balm (more about it in my following review)!

This Valentine also marks the 15th day of CNY or Chap Goh Meh and usually people only open the ang pows we collected throughout this CNY. Not sure why they do so but I opened mine even before Chap Goh Meh hahahaha

This year's ang pows packets v( ^o^)v This year is the Horse Year so that explains why red packets with horse prints ↓

On another note, I have an event announcement to make~

This year, the Japanese Society of my uni (which I founded) is organizing yet another Bunkasai a.k.a. Japanese School Festival for its 4th consecutive years nau!!

Been there for every event for 3 consecutive years now but this year will not be around since my brother's coming back from Germany for a short break before the new semester begins( ; __ ; )

Sharing with you my cosme hauls from Tokyo love Collection~ This is the 2nd time Isetan has organized the event. Didn't get to check out the Tokyo Love Collection 2012 so I thought I really should this year~ This post is meant to be completed last month but I've been dragging it alright... I'm trying to get the momentum back but with class started already I just don't know wth

Hadanomy Collagen Mist

 Besides the eye makeup, I also bought this limited edition Hadanomy's Collagen Mist that comes in this spray bottle's in heart shape. Uber cute!

Super convenient to carry this spray bottle around in handbag~! My roomie told me the spray is something like in Korean drama one LOL

Lots of Hadanomy facial care products at the booth. Got this one for only RM19 PWP. Else, original price is RM25.

Also grabbed these two Dolly Wink booklets with Tsubasa Masuwaka so prettayyy~

Doraemon: My Childhood Memories

100 Doraemon Secret Gadgets Expo

 at Viva Home last Sunday~♪

Super huge fan of Doraemon and it's one of the first few comics I was reading(besides Sailormoon and Cat's Eyes).

Super missed them all but Doraemon was our(siblings and I) favorite and we had like almost every single books including the one-book Doraemon and friends adventures. No kidding! Because we read them over and over till secondary school, most of the pages/cover were really worn out. Then mom decided to have them recycle after the comics started pilling up.. (；Д；) But we still have a lot of them now hahaha

Anyway, yeah, back to Doraemon expo topic.

At the cafeteria, there are dorayaki, memory toast and latte with Doraemon design on the surface some more!

Bought some dorayaki to nom but think they tasted a bit... weird/artificial/too much preservative? Tasted better ones before.

Didn't spend much on the food there. Instead, we got photos of ourselves popping out of Nobita's drawers in Nobita's room by the photographer there. That was RM20++ for every printouts that comes together with frame. I think it's worth so much more it ❤

If you don't want to spend on those, there's also this one photo booth with props provided you can camwhore as much as you like there.

PART 2: 2013 Penang Yosakoi Parade

I'm back~!ヾ(●⌒∇⌒●)ﾉHere's the second part of the post on the Yosakoi Parade. These were taken at night around Beach Street.

My photos are a lil' blur so I stole some from my friend Marcus who were there with me to watch the parade. I'm lazy to reference each and every photos of his in this post. You'll notice some photos with better resolutions_those are his. And no, Marcus, I'm not jelly over your camera ٩(≥3≤)۶

Anyway, here are the pics~!

Ok, this I'm not sure what it is. The children were carrying it and rocking it back and forth while shouting something I didn't quite catch. Can someone enlighten me about it?

Some random shot LOL. The lil' girl was standing on her dad's shoulder to watch the dance performance. Brings back memories (๑>◡<๑)♡

So jelly of her. There were so many people there I couldn't catch a glimpse of some of the performance. Was tiptoe-ing most of the time my legs hurt.
