Sponsored Review: Majolica Majorca Psychedelicious

Weeks ago, I mentioned received a number of items from Majolica Majorca for purpose of reviewing. Hope I haven’t been keeping some of you waiting (Ov≤)-☆ So walah~! Here they are!!!!

Hawt stuff in my handbag!

Items I received include a mascara, a brow colorist that also works as a mascara and a eyeshadow palette~!

The items initially in their packaging~

In this post, I’ll be reviewing only two of the products Lash King and Brow&Lash Colorist, both from Majolica Majorca’s Summer 2012 Collection~!

Introducing the latest line for Chapter 34:

Lash King in Brown, BR666

First up is my review on Lash King mascara! In this new line, Majolica Majorca's introducing its best selling mascara in a new BROWN shade! Similar to its predecessor, it has long fibers that gives your lashes awesomely natural-looking thickness and length! Not to mention a mascara formula with lengthening liquid mascara base. Also, it is described to be 'waterproof against sweat, sebum and tears'.

With 5mm fibers extensions for king size lashes!

Lash King in BR666

I applied the mascara by holding the wand horizontally and stroke it upwards in a zig-zaggy motion. There's so much difference already with just a single stroke but I tend to stroke the lashes at the outer corner of my eyes a couple of times to get the thicker-at-the-end result ♥

Apply to top lashes in zig-zaggy motion

Here's the comparison before(left) and after(right) applying Lash King in just a single stroke!

 With(right) and without(left) Lash King

I applied it to my lower lashes the same way I do with my upper lash but find that the fibers attached itself better to the lower lashes if you hold the wand horizontally.

The verdict?  I LOVE how it made my lashes distinctively noticeable and despite my black hair, didn't appear oddly mismatched ヾ(@°▽^@)ノ Also, compared to my usual black mascara, I think the brown makes my eyes stands out more naturally. I'd give a 4.5/5 rating for this baby ♡

Brow&Lash Colorist

Next up, Majolica Majorca Brow&Lash Colorist review. As their name may have suggested, this is a brow mascara that doubles as a lash mascara and they come in two shades of brown_ Vanilla Brown in BR333 and Maroon Brown in BR555.

Majolica Majorca Brow&Lash Colorist in BR555

This is how you apply it onto the brows_simple stroke it following the arch of your brows as shown in the photo below:

In just 3 simple strokes!

And the result?

Notice the huge difference it makes with just a single coat? Lovely!!

The brows appear lighter in a brown shade with reddish hint. The wand is made such that just the right amount of color is spread onto the brows and making it so easy to apply! Plus they looked oh-so-natural and would have complimented hair in dark chocolate shade or reddish/orange-ish brown. Can't wait to get my hair dyed soon!! ٩(♡ε♡ )۶

Oooh, and didn't I mentioned, it's a brow AND lash colorist? Apply it on your lashes the same way you'd use a mascara. Zig zag motion for top lashes and hold the wand vertically and swipe it from side to side!

Trade noticeable lashes for matching-colored brows and lashes?

Unlike Lash King, this Brow&Lash Colorist didn't do much difference  in the length of my lashes since they didn't have the fibers in the formula. It does give a lighter-colored and curlier lashes(I didn't use an eyelash curler for this review!).

I actually love the idea of matching brows and lashes but decided this Brow&Lash Colorist works best only as a brow mascara. The color made my lashes lighter in color they're hardly noticeable even from a close distance... |(''>.<')|| I'd still give this a 4/5 rating for this awesome idea!

Majolica Majorca's Psychedelicious Collection will be available around leading pharmacies around Malaysia soon ♡ While this post is written on behalf of items sponsored by Majolica Majorca, all opinions are 100% by yours trulyヾ(Ov≤)ノ-☆

Tokyo Street: 1st Anniversary Celebration

Finally I have some time off for myself today. Things been such a whack of late I find myself drained on most days (,TAT,) So after my final(thankfully, something settled) class today, I decided to drop by Pavilion KL to check out the 'Good Goods Japan' expo and Summer Festival organized in conjunction with the Tokyo Street 1st Anniversary celebration between 23rd till 29th July 2012.

Got to know about this event via ViVi magazine and decided I must really check it out. I'm a sucker for all things Japanese-related.

Anyway, was anticipating a livelier crowd but the place was somewhat the opposite probably because it isn't the weekend and most of the major events like the Tokyo Fashion Fiesta featuring a number of Japan fashion brands, Cosplay Fashion Showcase and even the special appearance of Ena Matsumoto are scheduled to be on this weekend :S

Gahhh!! That'll means I'll be missing out on the fashion showcase which will be held tomorrow... (>x<) Too lazy to make another trip there...

Anyway, they've got some really prettystreamers a.k.a. fukinagashi and folded origami cranes up for the Tanabata Festival. Photos below:

They're so pretty!! Making a mental note to make small fukunagashi and cranes for next year's Tanabata Festival and put it in the house. LOL.

Oooh~! And I found a stall selling Mille Crepes cake at Tokyo Street ♥ Here's some of the Mille Crepes from Arthur's

[caption id="attachment_2422" align="aligncenter" width="448"] Spotted! Durian Mille Crepe![/caption]

Got myself a slice of the original classic one for a 10%(yayy!) off its price. Promo's ending this weekend.

Was actually really tempted to try the Nama Roll and ichigo mochi from The Loaf but decided I shouldn't be too greedy since there isn't anyone to share them with (,T^T,)

Oh well, there's still a box of chocolates in the fridge anyway (>v<)/ Plus, I'll get to try some really awesome burger this weekend. An acquaintance of mine just opened a burger shop in Seapark in P.J. around 3 weeks ago and I'll be going there with my other friends to try them out. So can't wait 'cuz I heard they've sold out on most nights!

Will keep you posted about more stuff soon. Meanwhile, I'll just drop dead here and now. I'm beat! ,(XvX)/~~ Chao~
