Hada Labo Deep Moisturizing Hand Cream Review

Today I'll just be doing a short review for Hada Labo's Deep Moisturizing Hand Cream in Rose scent. I've actually been using this for a while now but didn't get about to reviewing about it until now.

Truthfully, I'm no fan of hand creams because of my OCD, I tend to wash my hands
fairly super often I don't see a purpose on using one since I have the tendency to  wash them off. However, probably from the constant hand washing and due to dry environment at work from all the air conditioning (It gets freaking cold in the office at times!),  I find myself needing one when the skin on my hands started to peel... (=Д=;)

Hada Labo offers two different type of hand cream_Rose-scented for Deep Moisturizing and Lavender-scented for Whitening purpose.

Description if you can read Chinese. Don't ask me to translate, those characters are equally alien language to me!

Though, I did some research on the web and found some information from Hada Labo's FB page. You're welcome.

Hada Labo Hand Cream Ingredients

The moisturizing lotion is packed with Bulgarian Rose Hydrosol and 3 kind of rose essential oil. No wonder simply from squeezing just a small dollop onto my hand and I could smell the strong scent of rose! Aside from Vitamin E and Australian Macademia Ternifolia Seed Oil, both the hand cream is packed with Hada Labo's signature Super Hyaluronic Acid so expect amazing moisturizing result from them!

Texture-wise, it has a silky-creamy sort of consistency that glides easily when applying. I'm no pro when it comes to hand cream but I find this a bit greasy which sort of temp me to want to wash my hands wthiswrongwithme (=__=)  I actually found a solution to this just recently that is to apply this hand cream before sleeping instead of during the day (⌒▽⌒)v #problemsolved LOL

I know there are probably 101 other choices for hand creams out there which probably have fancier packaging and nicer scents but I wanted something simple and works enough to keep my hands moisturize. Thus, opting to buy this simple Hada Labo hand cream.

Also, like usual, I'm obsessed with Japanese brand skin care and Hada Labo's a personal favorite so I didn't think much before purchasing. At RM19.90 for a 50ml tube (I got mine at RM11.80 on sale if I remember correctly!), it's quite affordable and works well to tackle my dry hands issue (*´∀`*)

April Beauty Hauls & My Favorite Brand

Konbanwa~!

Sorry for the lack of post, firstly, I've been working on a lil' project for my blog which I have been putting off since I started my Japanese lessons last year. This one I shall elaborate further only in another post very soon!

Second, class had just resumed last week and though I find myself having to revise more often (because it's getting really tough! むずかしいになるよ!) but I really am enjoying it. There are more new faces in the class but I'm glad most of the people I know from the previous class are still around. They're a fun bunch to be with(*⌒∇⌒*)

I'm getting way-y off topic from what I'm suppose to be writing about so let me get started with my recent beauty hauls.

Jyan~

April Hauls Spotlight on Hada Labo & Dove
(1) Re-stocking my favorite HadaLabo Moisturizing lotion, which came together in a pack with the Hada Labo Moisturizing Face Wash which I haven't tried before.

(2) HadaLabo Rose/Deep Moisturizing Hand Cream, the first range of non-facial care product from HadaLabo that I've just noticed recently. Decided to get it because the skin on my hands been peeling a lot lately... :(

(3) Dove All Day Repair Cream and

(4) Dove Nutri-Oil Serum I am trying to take care of my mane LOL

April Masks Hauls from Guardian & Hada Labo

(5) Different facial masks I bought from Guardian and a Hada Labo Moisturizing Face Mask complimentary from my previous Hada Labo purchase ( ⌒o⌒)

Lotsa HadaLabo products because it's my favorite brand! I've tried other brands before of course, but find that this one really compliments my skin well. Here's the entire collection of Hada Labo products I have right now. Yes, I am OBSESSED with their products!

Everything Hada Labo, my FAVORITE brand!

I have written about the products before and you can read them here. Will definitely share my opinion on the hand cream some other time(⌒▽⌒)

Now, who else's a fan of HadaLabo?

Hada Labo Double Lotion Review

Konnichiwa~!

I'm back with yet another Hada Labo review~♪ Finally bring myself to review them. Apologize for dragging this for so long already. Gomen!

Today I will be reviewing TWO of Hada Labo's top selling lotions: Hada Labo Super Hyaluric Acid Moisturizing Lotion which has record of one sold every 4 seconds AND Hada Labo Arbutin Whitening Lotionthe number 1 top selling whitening lotion in Japan!

Jyan~~ Both my Hada Labo lotions ✶ฺ.ヽ(*´∀`*)ノ✶゚ฺ

Hada Labo lotions <3

It's been over 6 months since I've started using them along with other Hada Labo's products_ the cleanser, moisturizing lotion, BB cream and makeup remover.

Yeapie~ Tried almost all of the Hada Labo products already! I love most of them but find daily usage of the cleanser kinda breaks my skin. You can read my review I wrote previously in this link TamagoHada's AHA+BHA cleanser and if you want, here's another review on Hada Labo's Air BB Cream (・∀・)

Let's get started!

Hada Labo Super Hyaluric Acid Moisturizing Lotion

The key ingredient for this moisturizing lotion lies in an ingredient called the 'Super Hyaluronic Acid' that boosts moisture retention.

Below are snapshots taken from Hada Labo's webpage depicting the moisture locking mechanism to give you a clearer idea on how these amazing ingredient works.

ingredient story

Plus the newly improved formula has not one, but THREE types of Hyaluronic Acid!

Each targets the skin in different level,  with the new Nano Hyaluronic Acid to penetrate deep into the skin "leaving it hydrated inside out".

And now here's how the moisturizing lotion looks like ↓

It's a colorless liquid with thick consistency that becomes slightly sticky when apply. To use, pour some on the palm of your hand and spread it all over the face. Then slap it all over your face for even application.

I find it takes a lot of slapping in for the lotion to be absorbed. Some reviews I read advise to use just a small drop or two for faster absorption though I don't mind to just take my time and let the lotion works its magic ( ⌒o⌒)~♪

Hada Labo Arbuting Whitening Lotion

2013-06-16 17.02.12

The key ingredient for this whitening lotion, besides the Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin C is the ingredient called 'Arbutin' that helps fight off dark spots.

Here's the illustration on how Arbutin works:

Hada Labo Arbutin ingredient

The whitening lotion_a milky white lotion which feels much 'lighter' and has a faster absorption rate compare to the moisturizing lotion ↓ Application method same as the moisturizing lotion one, btw!

Both lotions are available at Watsons and Guardian. At RM45.90 per bottle, it is affordable because of the generous amount that can last you for months! I've read reviews saying this lotion lasts up to 6 months but for me, I think it'll take at most 3-4 months to finish a single bottle.

Mine lasted a little bit longerlah since I've used them alternately, though the whitening lotion less frequently these days for fear of further breakouts... I'm still in the middle of trying to get rid of pimples and scars from my recent one...(;へ:)

That aside, the moisturizing lotion is my favorite among the two and I somewhat like the bouncy-feely feeling from patting the lotion onto the face ❤

Would I buy them again?

Super Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing lotion, DEFINITELY! Arbutin Whitening lotion. Maybe *shrug* Didn't quite find the 'special factor'...

Ending this post with a video on how to apply the Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid lotion to get the maximum result:

Thank you for reading! Till next time~ ヽ(*⌒∇⌒*)ノ

Review: Hada Labo Air BB Cream

Hello~! I'm back with a new review~ This time it's yet another Hada Labo product. I'm in love with this brand I tell you!

Finding the right foundation or bb cream has always been a problem for me. I had the Revlon's PhotoReady that turned out very orange-y and then another Dr. Young's BB Cream that gives off grey-ish tone that makes me look like the walking dead. I hate shopping for foundation! But still, partly having the curiosity of a beauty blogger, partly desperation to get a flawless look, I decided to give Hada Labo Air BB Cream a try.

And I don't know if it's luck or what, just when I had decided to purchase one, I received one for free!! Thank you, kamisama!

So I've been using it for a weeks now, and here's what I can conclude about this BB Cream: BEST base makeup I ever had!ヽ(*⌒∇⌒*)ノ

Tell you why soon~

Hada Labo Air BB Cream

Hada Labo Air BB Cream
This BB Cream is available at RM55.90 for a 40g tube and available in two shades: Ivory Beige and Natural Beige. I received the one in Ivory Beige, which is somewhat a tone darker than the other.

Here's the swatch ↓

matched so well with my skin tone!

This is what it looks like compare to my Revlon's and Dr Young's.

Dr Young's one totally out. Sure, I picked up the wrong shade last time(there's 2 and I got the lighter one). Still, I wouldn't  back to trying Dr Young's 'cuz I find the BB creams have really grey tone! The Revlon's one appears very similar to the Hada Labo's but I find it has weird orange-y tone...

Revlon PhotoReady-Dr Young-Hada Labo

What I love about the Hada Labo one is how it blends so well with my skin tone after a little bit more dabbing!

But that's not all. This Hada Labo Air BB Cream also prides itself for working on 10-in-1 function including SPF50+PA++~! YAYY to that!

☆*:.。. o(≧▽≦)o .。.:*☆

Here are the 10 functions:

HadaLabo Air BB Cream with 10-in-1 functions!

From providing a flawless coverage to sun protection to hydrating and even anti-aging properties, this BB cream has it all! Saves you a lot of time from applying all those products separately.

As for the texture, it is really light on the skin and it has super lasting coverage that stays for hours thanks to the Silicone Elastomer Blend formulated into this BB Cream. Also with low irritation and free of fragrance, mineral oil and alcohol.

Alrighty, here's the before(
derpy faceleft) and after(right) shots for this review. Now you know why I photoshop my photos (≥ . ≤)

HadaLabo Air BB Cream Review before&after
So, I find it works really well in covering pores giving an amazing, almost smooth overall. I say almost because it only conceals the small ones better. You can see from the photo above, some of the larger pores aren't well concealed...

For scars, the coverage is somewhat medium too. It does cover up the redness of scars but I have to dab in another layer or two (I'm somewhat considering laser treatment for smoother skin on a long run hahaha)

My conclusion?

I love this Hada Labo Air BB Cream a lot because it does gives a much radiant complexion~! With the amazing 9 other functions to boot, this one's another keeper!

Tamagohada AHA+BHA Facial Cleanser Review

OMG! Realized I haven't been blogging for a while... I've been reminding myself to write this review post for weeeeks!! Initially, I've planned to post this review it at the end of last month, which is exactly 4 weeks after I tried and tested this new HadaLabo cleanser but I've kinda busy having my hands on other stuff (,≥A≤,)

Anyway, here's HadaLabo's AHA/BHA range cleanser which I'll be reviewing today:

[caption id="attachment_2736" align="aligncenter" width="491"] HadaLabo AHA+BHA range Cleanser[/caption]

About 2 months or so ago, a friend and blogger, Sarah suggested I write a review on HadaLabo's Super Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing Lotion which basically acts as a moisturizing toner.

[caption id="attachment_2742" align="aligncenter" width="248"] HadaLabo Super Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing Lotion[/caption]

I contemplated for a while, debating with my inner self whether or not to get the lotion. Then I remembered I still have 3 other toners and 1 moisturizer not to mention having thrown a couple more away then when I was spring cleaning last month ||(,=A=,'')||

[caption id="attachment_2738" align="aligncenter" width="369"] all my other toners & moisturizer[/caption]

I didn't get the lotion. Still I'll be KIV-ing it and for now, decided to give the cleanser a go first. I couldn't resist the eggggquisite promise for smoother looking skin! So I got this cleanser from Watsons' for 15% off it's usual price at RM31.90.

This TamagoHada range, directly translates to "egg skin", comes in two different choices_cream or foam.

[caption id="attachment_2741" align="aligncenter" width="232"] HadaLabo AHA+BHA Foam Cleanser[/caption]

I opted for the one in tube since it'll be a better choice of traveling companion.

Even the creamy texture looks egg-yliscious~!

What I really LOVE about this cleanser? My pores look smaller in EVERY wash!! No kidding. It exfoliates thoroughly but isnt't too harsh for the skin. After 4 weeks, the difference is much noticeable. My scars appear more even and even the pores are tightening up~! What is this sorcery?!(OoO/)

On the other hand, I find it can be really drying to the skin which probably contributed to the breakouts I've been getting every now and then.

My rating:

3.5/5

I actually would prefer to stick with the Ace Neogence range of skincare but I really hope to see a smoother result by the end of this month so I got myself a second tube though I'll be using this alternatively with ACE Neogence cleanser to prevent my skin from drying too much♡ Oooh, and I'm making a mental note to get my hands on the HadaLabo Moisturizing toner after I finish the Nano White toner~
